Sykehouse Cottage

A beautiful C17th Holiday Cottage in the Lake District

Sykehouse Cottage is a seventeenth century Grade II listed cottage situated in the thriving market town of Broughton-in-Furness.  Lovingly restored, keeping original features in the old, two up two down cottage, full of character with an up-to-date extension for the kitchen, bedrooms and sunroom creating a light and modern interior.

Sleeps 2 to 6 people in 3 bedrooms – two double and one twin room.  There is a wood burning stove in the front room.  The cottage is only 200m from shops, pubs and restaurants.

A well behaved dog would be welcome but no smoking is allowed inside the cottage.

Sykehouse Cottage has a sitting room and conservatory with adjoining fully-fitted kitchen. A paved area at the back of the cottage lends itself to summer barbecues.

Upstairs, there is a family bathroom with a shower over the bath, a light and airy bedroom with a large double bed, a second double bedroom and a third bedroom in the old part of the cottage with two single beds.

On the ground floor is a cloakroom with WC and basin. The kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine/drier. Gas central heating throughout – with underfloor heating in the kitchen. There is a TV in sitting area and the cottage has a Wifi internet connection.
